Manoj Saxena

Manoj Saxena is the Managing Director Bayer Zydus Pharma since April 2017. He is also the Country Division Head, South Asia for the Pharmaceuticals division of Bayer.
As part of Bayer’s Asia Pacific Pharma Leadership Team, Manoj Saxena is known for his contribution in driving key growth strategies within the region. He has a deep understanding of the healthcare industry along with immense experience across functions through senior roles in sales and marketing, business analysis and general management. Manoj is passionate about Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) and represents the I&D Council of Bayer Pharma globally.

Manoj joined Bayer India in 2009 as the Business Unit Head for General Medicine and Women’s Health with a vision to expand and increase Bayer’s footprint in the emerging market. He went on to spearhead the formation of Bayer Zydus Pharma in 2011 - a joint venture between Bayer and Zydus Cadila – and also became a part of the Bayer Leadership Team in India. He became an active member of Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI). In August 2012, Manoj was chosen as the Country Head for Pharmaceuticals division and the Country Representative for Consumer Health and Animal Health divisions in Bayer Vietnam. Here, he was appointed as Board Member (Vice Chair) of Pharma Group Vietnam - a key industry association for the pharmaceutical industry. Following his stint in Vietnam, Manoj was Managing Director of Bayer Co. (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and Country Division Head of Pharmaceuticals for the diverse cluster of Singapore & Malaysia. He was also a Board Member of Singapore Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (SAPI).
Manoj is a graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics (Hons) and has completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing.
