Narendra Shah
Narendra Shah is the Director and Site Manager of Bayer Vapi Private Limited since December 2014.
As Director and Site Manager of Bayer Vapi, Narendra Shah is responsible for one of the single largest synthetic pyrethroids production facility in the world and a core manufacturing site for Bayer globally. He speaks passionately about the chemistry and safety procedures followed at the facility which produces active ingredients and intermediates for application in crop protection, animal health as well as home and garden applications.

Narendra started his career in 1987 with Hoechst Schering AgrEvo at Ankleshwar in Gujarat as a Production Supervisor. In January 1997, he joined Mitsu Industries as Senior Production Manager. In 2006, he became the Vice President of Bilag Industries Pvt Ltd. handling 7 plants under him. In 2011, he moved to Bayer’s Ankleshwar site as Site Manager. After 2 years, he moved to the Bayer Crop Science headquarters in Monheim, Germany. He worked with the Operational Excellence Team there from December 2013 till November 2014. On his return to India, he took over as Site Manager for Bayer Vapi and later as Director in January 2015.
He is a Post Graduate in Organic Chemistry and holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
